A feed aggregator is software which aggregates syndicated web content from online information sources such as news sites and blogs, Information consumers can subscribe to any web site which provides a web feed and get up to date information on their feed readers, but due to the increasing popularity of the web, content providers are generating many number of updates in a growing rate which makes it difficult to keep up with for many readers. None of the feed readers up to the date solves this information overloading problem users are facing. The proposed project, feedIO RSS/Atom feed aggregator, provides a solution for this problem by tracking the users reading preferences and then using that recorded information to prioritize the content updates from the subscribed feeds.
